{"id":177,"date":"2010-01-28T17:08:16","date_gmt":"2010-01-28T15:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.coenraadkukkuk.co.za\/site\/?p=177"},"modified":"2017-03-26T17:09:09","modified_gmt":"2017-03-26T15:09:09","slug":"pac-in-trouble-over-hate-speech","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.coenraadkukkuk.co.za\/site\/pac-in-trouble-over-hate-speech\/","title":{"rendered":"PAC in trouble over hate speech"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AN ATTORNEY has taken the Pan Africanist Youth Congress to the SA Human Rights Commission for making anti-homosexual statements.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Coenraad Kukkuk and two others lodged the complaint at the SAHRC&#8217;s Mpumalanga office, they said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>SAHRC Mpumalanga director Charles Kgoale said: &#8220;We view the hate speech charges seriously and have taken this matter to the national level, where it is being duly investigated.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Payco had &#8220;insulted homosexuals as well as the South African Constitution&#8221;, he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to News24, league president Pitso Mphasha told African Eye News Service on January 20 that all PAC structures were opposed to homosexuality.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are saying to hell with the SA Constitution for giving rights to gays and lesbians.
